Hi, I am Stephanie, a 23 year old strategic design student at the TU Delft. Today, I am in my second week as an intern at BR-ND. Off course I can tell you a long story about myself, who I am, what I do, what I like and what I do not like. Ok, I will... later on. First, I want to tell you the reason why I choose this brand as the company where I am doing my internship at.

Let me start with a quote:

This is typical me, always in a hurry, running from one place to another. Still, sometimes I stop to think about my life as it is now. I look back to what I have accomplished already and try to look forward. What do I want to do? Where do I want to live? Do I like my life as it is now? How can I change the things I do not like into something I like doing? I cannot give an answer on these questions, but at least I can decide the direction where I think I should go into. I can always change my path when I feel like it.

This way of thinking brought me here, at the BR-ND studio in Amsterdam. I see you thinking, can you please elaborate on that? Ok, here it comes. Last year, when I just started my Master Strategic Product Design at the TU Delft, I attended a lecture of a course named 'Brand Product Strategy'. Kim and Alexander gave a guest lecture about branding. During this lecture, they introduced their method 23plusone. Some months passed by where I was busy following lectures, working on projects and doing exams. Besides that, I cooked some nice dinners for family and friends, gave Zumba lessons at the gym and I visited friends in London and Oslo.

In the beginning of this year, I saw an invitation of the BR-ND Spring workshop. After some doubts, I decided to attend this event. This resulted in an inspiring afternoon, which made me 'hungry' to experience more. I wanted to be involved in this company, to be a part of the BR-ND family. Because that is how it feels when being here, a family. Besides working their asses off, people within the BR-ND community take care of each other and love to work-out and eat together. This totally fits my profile. Besides my dedication to design and branding, I am a healthy food lover and like to work-out. I believe sharing these experiences with like-minded people makes it even more fun!

After the workshop I contacted Kim and Alexander. They were both very open and interested in a collaboration. So... here I am! For the coming months, I am the 'marketing and community manager' at BR-ND. I will be responsible for the marketing and sales of the 23plusone network. Besides that, I will take of the existing community by organizing events and inspire them via social media. Everything in collaboration with the BR-ND team off course. I am really excited to start. LET'S GO!
